Updating your payment method

How payment information is handled depends on whether you bought a single course or a subscription.

Single-course purchases

We don't store your card on file. The moment your purchase clears, the transaction is done — there's no recurring charge, no card sitting in our system, nothing for you to update.

Next time you buy something on The Vessel, you'll just enter your card details fresh at checkout. (Or use Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Link if your browser offers them.)

Subscriptions

When The Vessel Membership launches and you're on a recurring plan, we keep your payment method on file at our payment processor (Stripe). To update the card we charge:

  1. Go to thevessel.io/my-account/ and sign in.
  2. Click Payment methods in the menu.
  3. Either add a new card and make it the default, or replace the existing one.
  4. Future renewals will charge the new card automatically.
  5. Your existing access continues uninterrupted while you make the change.

    If you'd rather we update the card for you, email support@thevessel.io — but please don't send card numbers in the email itself. We'll send you a secure link.
